Welcome to the Metaverse, but what is the Metaverse?
Defining the undefined. Three elements I found in many definitions
- A shared online space that spans across dimensions , powered by a combination of VR, AR, and MR (mixed reality).
- A new convergence of physical and digital worlds and the next stage is how physical interact with digital. It’s a place where people can meet and interact, and digital assets can be created, bought, and sold.
- An internet mutually owned by builders and users, coordinated by tokens and incentive structures. Peer-to-peer networks are built on trustless transaction and programmability layers (=> Web 3).
